This project will provide safe temporary shelter, basic care, and daily support for 100 homeless individuals in Ghana. Many people living on the streets lack access to safe housing, food, and hygiene facilities. This project will offer immediate protection, dignity, and stability while connecting beneficiaries to longer-term rehabilitation and reintegration services.
Homeless individuals in Ghana face extreme hardship, including exposure to harsh weather, hunger, poor health, and vulnerability to violence. Without stable shelter, many struggle to access basic services such as healthcare, employment opportunities, and social support. This situation increases their risk of long-term poverty and social exclusion.
This project will provide safe temporary shelter for 100 homeless individuals, ensuring access to sleeping space, meals, and basic hygiene services. Beneficiaries will also be connected to social support services, including counseling, health screening, and reintegration programs. The project will help stabilize their immediate living conditions while supporting pathways toward long-term recovery.
The project will reduce street homelessness by providing immediate safety and structured support. Over time, beneficiaries will gain access to rehabilitation services, job opportunities, and social reintegration programs. This will help restore dignity, reduce urban street homelessness, and improve community safety and wellbeing.
