This project seeks to register children below age 18 onto the National Health Insurance Scheme of Ghana so they can access free basic healthcare and other benefits associated with this card.
This project also helps widen the scope of the Ghana Universal Health Coverage Goal for rural communities. This will also enhance early detection and treatment of ailments.
Between October and December 2022, 459 more children have been registered from 3 communities and handed over their Health Insurance cards to them to start using.
These were done within Yapei, Jantong-Daashei, Nyamaliga communities respectivelyin the Savannah Region of Ghana.
END OF YEAR ACCOUNTABILITY AND FUNDRAISING FORUM (21ST DECEMBER 2022)
An End of year accountability and Fundraising Forum was organized by the team to render accounts to local donors and also discuss the role of Key Stakeholders in promoting and realizing the potential of Local Philanthropy. Testimonies from Beneficiaries were also shared.
