Living on the streets leaves teenage mothers exceptionally vulnerable to poverty and exploitation. Kimbilio’s hairdressing training program offers these young women a viable pathway out of dependency, equipping them with practical skills to run their own businesses and provide a secure, stable home for their children.
We are delighted to share that five more young mothers began their intensive hairdressing and beauty course in June! Over this five-month practical program running through October, the mums are mastering styling techniques, client care, and essential business skills. Upon graduation, each mother will receive a professional starter kit and ongoing business support to help launch her own hairdressing venture.
Providing accommodation, training materials, starter kits, and mentorship requires steady, long-term backing. Your donations directly fund these training cohorts, giving young mothers the independence they need to lift their families out of street life. Thank you for investing in their future and dignity!
