This project will provide free CT scan services for 400 low-income patients in Ghana who cannot afford essential diagnostic imaging. Many patients with serious medical conditions are unable to access timely diagnosis due to the high cost of CT scans, leading to delayed treatment and worsening health outcomes. This project will help vulnerable patients receive accurate diagnoses and timely medical care.
CT scans are critical for diagnosing conditions such as strokes, injuries, tumors, and internal complications, but the cost is often beyond the reach of low-income families in Ghana. Delayed or missed diagnosis can result in severe health complications, preventable deaths, and long-term disability.
This project will partner with hospitals and diagnostic centers to provide free CT scans for 400 vulnerable patients. It will prioritize individuals with urgent medical needs who are unable to afford imaging services. The project will also support referral and follow-up care to ensure patients receive appropriate treatment after diagnosis.
The project will improve early diagnosis, increase access to timely treatment, and reduce preventable complications and deaths. Patients will have better chances of recovery through accurate medical assessment. Over time, this project will strengthen healthcare access for underserved populations and improve overall health outcomes.
