Already ovber 20 Youth who are out off school are employed in the farm providing labor and earning income. Majority of these are between the ages of 15-25 years. The Youth are currenty clearing the bushes in farm and will be involved in the initial ploughing and fencing of the farm. This will directly provide employment to these youth, ensuring they are out of anti-social activities including drug abuse, violence and sex for money.
The 10 acre peice of land was generously provided for by the family of the area local leader. In his own words, the area leader said ''Our comunity badly needs best farming skills to increase their outputs and incomes, the initiative by #vfhuganda to start a training farm was highly welcomed by the community and my family that is why we offered our land free of charge for however long the organisation will utilise it for community transformation. As a community of Obilokong we are happy to partner with #vfhuganda and Office of the Prime Minister''.
