Jennifers Renewed Hope of becoming a medical Doctor. Jennifer (16 Years), is one of the recent beneficiaries of the Youth Empowerment Project where she received two sheep. ‘’With these sheep now, am sure my school fees are sorted and I want to become a medical Doctor, nothing will stop me now’’ is all Jennifer could say after while showing her two sheep at her home where she lives with a foster parent in the settlement.
Jennifere is a total orphan having lost both of her parents back in South Sudan due to war. She now leaves with a foster parent who have taken her in as one of their own children despite they have 6 of their own biological children with no source of income. Though Jennifer had a deep desire to become a medical doctor so she can go back to help other children and women back in South Sudan with one of the worst health care sectors in the world, her dream seemed dead given she did not see where the school fees would come from. With the support of the two sheep, Jennifer now believes her dreams are becoming a reality.
