Thanks to your help, we are able to help!
For a little more than 50 years, APAC, IAP, the Association in Favor of People with Cerebral Palsy has provided specialized services to people with CP and other related disabilities, as well as their families, in Mexico City.
Experience and technology advances led us us to discover that timely care can make a difference in the lives of many children, so in 2007 we decided Early Intervention was a priority. Our specialist team developed a Detection and Early Intervention program to focus on helping children aged 0-6 with risk factors and warning signs of developing a disability due to birth condition. During these 16 years, the program has proven to be particularly successful in educational and social inclusion of our beneficiaries. Their mothers have gone from "Will my child someday take a step?" to "Hey! Will my child someday make a STOP?!"
With your support, these 100 beneficiaries continue receiving more than 80 services by specialists in their field.
Please consider continuing helping us serve these vulnerable population, who come from working-poor families. Your support is crucial to change their expectations of life!
