Nursery Growth & Activities Update: Nurturing Roots, Growing Futures
We are delighted to share exciting progress from Nyamonge Model Nursery School as we continue to expand opportunities for our youngest learners and strengthen our community partnerships.
Environmental Day – Tree Planting with Preschoolers & Grade Ones
This quarter, our preschool and grade one learners actively participated in Environmental Day by planting trees on campus. The activity was designed to teach children the importance of trees, how to plant them, and the types of trees recommended in a learning environment. Beyond the hands-on experience, it instilled values of sustainability, responsibility, and care for nature—helping our children grow as guardians of their environment.
Generous Donation from SPURS Women Group
We were honored to receive a thoughtful donation from the SPURS Women Group:
The group also paid a follow-up visit, reinforcing their support and exploring partnership opportunities with the school. Their contribution has greatly enhanced our learning spaces, ensuring comfort, security, and a stronger foundation for academic growth.
Expanding Our Model Nursery School
A major milestone this year is the addition of Grade One to our nursery program. This marks the beginning of our long-term vision to grow into a full-fledged primary and junior school in the coming years. Each step forward strengthens our commitment to holistic education, blending play, academics, and environmental stewardship.
Oceanic Bubbles Bottling Plant Update
We continue to follow up on regulatory approvals for the Oceanic Bubbles water bottling plant. All required documents have been submitted, and we await final clearance to ensure compliance with government standards. This project remains central to our mission of providing clean water to over 1,800 Nyamongeans.
Closing Note
From tree planting to classroom improvements, every achievement reflects the power of partnership. Together, we are not only creating safe, joyful spaces for children but also laying the groundwork for a sustainable future.
Your support continues to make these milestones possible—thank you for believing in our vision of brighter futures through education, sustainability, and community empowerment.
