EXCITING UPDATE: Playground Equipment Installed – Final Touches Underway for Safe, Lush Play Space!
We are truly grateful for your ongoing support and belief in our mission to create a nurturing, sustainable environment for our students and the wider Nyamonge community.
A quick note on the Oceanic Bubbles water bottling plant: We continue to actively follow up on the regulatory approvals. All required documents have been submitted to the government authorities, and we are patiently awaiting their processing and final clearance to ensure full compliance with all standards. We remain optimistic and will keep you informed of any advancements.
Shifting focus to the on-campus kindergarten outdoor playground—great news! The installation of all play equipment is now fully complete. This marks a major milestone, bringing us even closer to opening this joyful space for our preschool children.
As shared previously, 90% of the overall work was done at the time of our last report. With the equipment now in place, we're at approximately 95-97% completion. The only remaining task is to fully furnish and cover the ground with Arabic grass—a premium, fine-textured natural turf widely used in Kenya for its soft, carpet-like feel, deep green color, and excellent durability. This final layer will provide a safe, cushioned surface that enhances child safety during play, supports seamless indoor-outdoor transitions, and aligns perfectly with our goal of a holistic, friendly learning environment for our youngest learners.
The site has been beautifully landscaped and prepared, and once the Arabic grass is laid and established, the playground will be ready for its official opening. We can't wait to see our children exploring, laughing, and growing in this dedicated space!
Your partnership continues to make these meaningful steps possible—beyond clean water for over 1,800 Nyamongeans, we're building brighter futures through improved campus sustainability and child-centered facilities.
Thank you for standing with us. We look forward to sharing photos of the finished playground, and hopefully soon, the launch of Oceanic Bubbles.
