Provide-Clean-Water-To-Over-1800-Nyamongeans

BRACING FOR A BRIGHT FUTURE

With great resilience, the college sails through an economic downturn, where the economic growth of Kenya is down and inflation is up. With the support from well-wishers, donors, and development partners, the college has stayed on course with its GlobalGiving Project goal, to Provide-Clean-Water-To-Over-1800-Nyamongeans.

The objective to make safe and clean drinking water accessible to our students and the local community is drawing nigh to fruition. The College is grateful to its GlobalGiving partners and its direct funders, who have helped propel its vision this far.

As noted in my last report, 80% of the 3rd Phase of the project, which is the installation of the water tower is complete. The tower has been installed, tested, and filled with water. Only 50% of the plumbing work has been done. The college still has 50% of the plumbing work pending to get the water to its designated locations. The College hopes to use the 2024 April Matching GlobalGiving Campaign funds, to bring this phase to fruition.

The college is bracing for the final phase of the project, which is the installation of a digital kiosk and/or a water bottling plant. The college considers the project, to Provide-Clean-Water-To-Over-1800-Nyamongeans, an innovative project that will help sail the college to its greatest height.

Well-aligned with the Sustainable Development Goal #6, the college is determined to make sustainable access, to safe, clean, and reliable drinking water, to as many people as possible within and beyond this local community.

As the college draw closer to completing phase 3 of this project, it also prepares to offset the final phase of this project which is, the construction of a Digital Kiosk and/or a Water Bottling Plant.

The college has found its strength amidst the staggering economy and we trust this will help it build its resilience moving forward.

We feel honored to work with you!
