Project Report | Nov 3, 2023
Provide-Clean-Water-To-Over-1800-Nyamongeans

By Celine Omolo | Director

At this point in the process, it is imperative to note that 70% of our goal, to Provide-Clean-Water-To-Over-1800-Nyamongeans, has been achieved, and its impact has been realized. As we come to the end of the year 2023, I wish to report to Our GlobalGiving Partners that we have successfully constructed a two-door Kindergarten Classroom, which is a major impact of our project to Provide-Clean-Water-To-Over-1800-Nyamongeans.  With the presence of a Borehole, we had enough water on the construction site that sailed us through the process of construction successfully. The quantity and quality of water required, either for preparation of mortar, mixing of cement concrete and for curing work, or even for other domestic purposes, was well in place. Plumbing work has been done and this water has now been channeled for use in the new Kindergarten Classroom, practically for everything.

In retrospect, we appreciate prioritizing the project, to Provide-Clean-Water-To-Over-1800-Nyamongeans, as Goal # 1., in our Institutional Strategic Plan. The Goal was well aligned with the mission, vision, and values, thereby providing a smooth glide from one project to the next.

As we forge ahead, we remain focused to completing the other 30% before the year end. Our dream, to transform this Community by working towards responding to the sixth sustainable goal of providing clean water and sanitation, as noted in my earlier report, is on course. We will be able to address the SDG # 1: No poverty, and the SDG # 4: Quality education. Our long-term goal is to contribute meaningfully to the growth of Nyamonge Community and the society at large.

We look forwarding to completing the project to Provide-Clean-Water-To-Over-1800-Nyamongeans, as it will provide a ladder to many other income generating projects on-campus.

We therefore boldly, embrace every opportunity available, to help achieve this goal. We invite all our donors to join us in working towards realizing this goal.
