Dear Friends,
On behalf of all our staff and patients, thank you for your generous giving to Partners In Health! We are so grateful for your partnership in supporting our fight against child malnutrition in Haiti.
Haiti is grappling with an escalating humanitarian crisis, pushing the country closer to famine. Armed groups are operating in the areas where we work, which really impacts how we can address malnutrition. So far, the USAID cuts have not affected this vital work, but your support is more crucial than ever.
All facilities are open and providing essential care. For our community health workers addressing child malnutrition, this work is a testament to their unwavering compassion. Our team continues to work to fulfill our promise to Haitian children.
The nutrition program continues to support patients in 12 sites. From June to October 2024, 2,905 children have been fed and 20,800kg of Nourimanba has been distributed throughout our sites.
We have an emergency protocol in place that focuses on the continuity of essential health services, which includes child malnutrition programs. We are truly grateful for our staff’s immense bravery, as they remain committed to serve those most in need.
In times like these, your support allows us to keep going for children in Haiti. Thank you for standing with us, for believing in our mission, and sharing in our commitment to Haiti’s future.
With gratitude,
Partners in Health
