Dear Donor,
Thanks to your generous support, we were able to repair and restore a community borehole that had been out of service for several months, bringing clean and safe drinking water back to more than 500 people in rural Uganda.
Before the repair, families were forced to collect water from unsafe ponds and streams, exposing themselves to waterborne diseases and spending valuable hours each day searching for water. Women and children carried the greatest burden, often walking long distances before sunrise just to meet their household water needs.
Today, because of your generosity, the repaired borehole is once again serving the entire community. Families now have reliable access to safe drinking water close to their homes. Children are spending more time in school, mothers have more time for farming and small businesses, and households are experiencing improved hygiene and better health.
Community water committees have also been trained on proper maintenance practices to help keep the borehole functional for many years to come.
Thank you for your continued compassion and support. Your generosity is restoring health, dignity, and opportunity through the simple but life-changing gift of clean water.
