This project restores hope, motivates educational goals and retain 35 children in school by providing 35 long lasting bicycles, repair kits to 35 children who walk 10-15km to school in rural Ghana
The 35 beneficiaries of this project from 10 villages in Hohoe Municipality walk 10-15km each day to school. Most often, they are late to school, get tired and sleep when teaching is ongoing and absent from school due to the distance. Do you care about the educational needs of these disadvantaged rural children? What about their educational output? your guess about the future for this school children in the suburbs of Hohoe will be as good as mine if you do not provide them with bicycles.
The bicycles will increase the interest of the child to go to school, reduce lateness to school and absenteeism. it will also bring about improvement in the academic performance of the rural child.
