Dear Supporter,
I'm delighted to bring you news of a new purchase, thanks to your donations, to aid in our fight against poaching. The team in Limpopo have purchased 13 strobe lights for the reserve vehicles to be used to identify anti-poaching patrol vehicles after dark. These lights will allow us to focus light on larger areas of the reserve at night to increase our coverage. We look forward to bring you more news when these lights have been fitted!
The team have also taken part this month in a local initiative; Rocking For Rhinos.
This two day event fused conservation and entertainment together in one eye opening experience. Held in Hoedspruit on a large recreational park, the festival presented South Africa's critical problem in a way that is easy to relate to for all generations. In their third year running, Rocking for Rhinos (a registered non-profit) brings together some of the top acts in South Africa to raise funds for key ANTI POACHING teams and rhino initiatives!
Thank you for continuing to support this project.
All the best
GVI Limpopo
