Thanks to the contribution of many different helping hands around the world, 55 Colombians, who have suffered amputations and several injuries due to the devastating aftermath of antipersonnel landmines and other explosive, received medical treatment, and physical and psychological rehabilitation.
These Colombians now have a new opportunity in life to return back into society with hope and dignity. These beneficiaries started a new path towards a promising educational future, such as enrolling in basic training programs in primary and secondary education, as well as attending technical training courses and professional studies at local Universities. By acquiring these skills, our beneficiaries will be better equipped to succeed in socio-economic programs and labor reintegration processes.
But many others need our help....
