With immense gratitude, we reflect on 2024, a year filled with growth, impact, and hope made possible by your unwavering support. Your prayers, encouragement, and generosity have directly transformed lives in marginalized communities.

Education & Nutrition: Through your contributions, 144 children at mbagathi Road Primary School (MRPS)  received daily meals, fostering focus and academic success. Teachers and staff also benefitted from this program, enhancing their commitment to the children’s education. Two students earned scholarships, excelling both academically and in sports.

Sports & Equipment: We conducted holiday soccer camp for 120 children, combining mentorship, discipleship, and value-based coaching. Essential sports equipment from our partners has significantly reduced injuries and empowered young athletes to thrive

Refugee Outreach: For the first time, SAA celebrated Christmas with over 200 displaced individuals in Dadaab. The event provided meals, fellowship, and hope, exemplifying the role of Christ in Action.

Way Forward: We aim to sustain these initiatives, expand scholarships, and intriduce new programs, including baskeball training. Additionally, we plan to purchase three containers to serve as an SAA office, storage, and conference room. Extending scholarships to more derserving children and purchasing of the containers remains a top priority. Howver, achieving these goals requires raising $1, 500 monthly for operational costs and further support for children in need.

• Consistent funding to maintain lunch programs, expand scholarships, and secure resources for coaches and volunteers.
• Wisdom and self-control as we navigate a new administration as MRPS and strength relationships with families and the community.
• Favor in identifying new donors and partners to further God’s work.
• Provision for the purchase of containers and resources to support our growing ministry needs.

KENYA OUTREACH MISSION REPORT, 2024

Greetings to our esteemed partners,

We hope this message finds you and your family well. We are deeply grateful for your steadfast support, which has significantly enhanced our organization. Your financial contributions, mentorship, resources, and spiritual encouragement have strengthened our relationships with partners, transformed our ministry, and enabled us to run our programs effectively. Thank you for your unwavering dedication.

My family and I are adjusting well. Our daughter has recently graduated to grade 1 and is excited about school. We continue to seek wisdom as we navigate life in the USA and raise her in this new cultural environment. 

Recently, I led a team of fourteen missionaries from Destiny Church to Kenya for a two-week outreach program. During our visit to Mbagathi Road Primary School (MRPS) on August 5th, we engaged in spiritual development, social games, and a tour of the school. The team also interacted with SAA beneficiaries, served refreshments, and enjoyed local cultural performances. We were pleased to receive donations of sports equipment from Destiny Church and The Edge Arts & Sports Academy and celebrated thirteen years of SAA’s impact. This was the first mission team of its kind since our ministry’s inception. 

The objective of the Mission:

• Conduct outdoor sports training for Remember Nhu children’s home, and participate in community outreach with SAA.

• Engage in worship, Bible teaching, craftwork, journaling, and build connections with Destiny Church-sponsored children, and donate learning materials.

• Experience and showcase SAA’s outreach programs, explore future partnership opportunities, and immerse in Kenya’s cultural heritage. 

This mission marked two years since my family and I relocated to the U.S.A. It was fulfilling to reconnect with our marginalized children and witness the progress of our projects in Kenya. The Destiny Church team split into two groups: one went to Safar in Masaai Mara to experience Kenyan culture and see the “Big Five, “while the other explored Nairobi National Park.

In Western Kenya, we continued outreach with Remember Nhu, focusing on sports activities, daily devotions, and donations of sports equipment. 

Prayer Request:

• For sufficient administrative funding to streamline operations and enhance program planning. 

• Regular monthly support is needed to boost staff morale and retention. 

• For the immediate acquisition and setup of four containers to facilitate secure operations. 

Way Forward:

• Identify and recruit donors for exposure to ministry opportunities in Kenya.

• Secure four 40-foot containers for office space, storage, kitchen, and meeting rooms.

• Establish long-term partnerships and develop a strategic funding plan for program sustainability.

• Aim to make this outreach mission an annual event and expose these opportunities to donors for support.
