SAA MINISTRY UPDATE - APRIL 30, 2025
Transforming Lives through Sports and Holistic Development.
Dear Partners,
We extend heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering prayers, support, and generosity. Because of you, Sports Aid Africa (SAA) continues to transform lives in one of Kenya’s most densely marginalized communities.
Christmas Breadbasket Initiatives: Over 100 families were blessed during our annual outreach, receiving balanced food packages. This effort promoted celebration, hope, and family bonding, with parents participating in mentorship and social games with their children.
Education and Feeding Program: 144 students and 28 teachers at Mbagathi Road Primary School (MRPS) receive daily lunch, improving concentration and morale. One student is currently on scholarship and is thriving academically, physically, and spiritually.
Sports and Infrastructure: Thanks to Hope Markers, basketball hoops were installed to engage non-soccer athletes. Additionally, 23 whiteboards were installed in classrooms, replacing dusty chalkboards and improving health and teaching environments.
Holiday Sports Camp: Despite seasonal rains, 130 children participated in our April basketball and soccer camp, receiving life-skills training, spiritual mentorship, and refreshments.
S.H.E & H.E. Programs: In partnership with Hope Alliance and Zinduka Africa, over 250 grade 9 students completed one-term programs focused on hygiene, menstrual health, life skills, and biblical values. Girls received monthly sanitary towels, and all received certificates of completion.
Way Forward:
