This month, we’re highlighting a project rooted in a simple but powerful idea: when children have space to grow, entire communities grow with them.
Across South Africa’s Limpopo Province, 2,743 children come together each week to learn, play, lead, and support one another through a program that has become a lifeline in their communities. These gatherings are where young people build confidence, learn critical skills, and gain the tools to navigate everything from school pressure to health challenges.
But as the need for these services has surged, one challenge has become impossible to ignore: they need more space to gather, more room to train, and a permanent kitchen to prepare food for children during camps and weekly activities.
Their vision is bold, practical, and full of possibility: to purchase a farm that will become a permanent home for their work. Your donation to this fund is supporting that dream this December.
And for the team behind this work, the recognition couldn’t feel more meaningful.
“WOW are you serious! WOW WOW WOW! With over 10,000 worthy NPOs it is very humbling and gratifying to be given this honour,” said Louise Batty, Managing Director of Keep The Dream196. “This gives us much-needed breathing space so we can focus on the work, the children, and the women we serve—not just the budget. Thank you for giving us this precious opportunity.”
We echo Louise’s words! Thank you for helping make this future possible. Your support brings this vision within reach.
With gratitude,
Yami + The GlobalGiving Team
