A Table for Every Family

By Tracey Watson | Project Coordinator

In our city, hunger is one of the most pressing challenges families face, made worse by very high unemployment and the strain it places on households that are already struggling to cope.
Through Project Hunger, we are now reaching around 42,000 people every month with reliable food support. For many, this isn’t just help. It’s a lifeline, the difference between a family sitting down to eat and going without, between dignity and despair.
The need keeps growing. Every month, more families turn to us, depending on this support simply to get by. That rising demand is a challenge we take seriously, because behind every number is a real person, a real child, a real family doing their best in hard circumstances.
And yet what we see, again and again, is hope holding firm. We see it in the gratitude of the families we support, in the relief on a parent’s face when they know their child will eat, and in communities that feel cared for, not overlooked.
None of this would be possible without you. Your support stands between a family and an empty table, allowing us to respond with consistency, compassion and dignity, even as the need grows.
LOOKING AHEAD
We’re committed to growing what we do, so we can reach even more families who need us.
No family should have to go without food. With your continued partnership, we’ll keep expanding this work, making sure more people have both the food they depend on and the hope they deserve.
Kind Regards,
Tracey Watson
