We implemented a bakery training course as part of our educational and professional development program inside prisons.
During the course, more than 50 women participated in both theoretical and practical sessions, learning baking techniques and gaining new skills that can open real opportunities for employment and social reintegration.
The course was fully equipped with the necessary tools and appliances, allowing us to sustain the activity and replicate it annually in different prison wings.
Baking was chosen as a trade because it is highly in demand, offers economic independence, and helps participants rebuild family bonds after years of separation.
Each class became an opportunity for participants to imagine and build a different future — one away from recidivism and closer to genuine social inclusion.
