The project, Productive 500 skilled youth for young India through GlobalGiving has supported 29 youth for continuing their education, during this reporting period has supported to 2 girls studying engineering; for one girl who is appearing for her final semester and another for her project submission. The support to the girls are really helped them to continue their education. Both the girls are performing well. During the last reporting we have mentioned that the youth provided with financial support has appeared for examination, all the supported youth are successful with good scoring in all the subjects. In their words, the success of our good scoring in examination is only because of timely support which we have received from the project, with the support we are able to concentrate on our education instead of worrying for the examination or semester fees. While their parents and guardians said that their children’s education is continuing only because of the support, which is a big release from thoughts of lending money from money lenders for high rates of interest.

The 29 youth had shared their marks sheet and they have secured during last semester, the benefited youth and their parents said that the performance of their children has increased, which is seen from their marks list from previous years. The support made our parent’s feel happy and they were confident that we will secure what we deserve.

The consistent mentoring support from Vasavya Mahila Mandali has supported the youth and their families to concentrate on education. One of the benefited youth’s mother said that, “My son is able to appear for his final examination with the timely support, I was working as an attendant in local panchayath, with the support I am able to get books for my son, which are very useful to support his examination due in the month of April’.

The project, Productive 500 skilled youth for young India through Global giving has support 27 youth for continuing their education; the timely support has really made their dreams alive. With the support provided nursing youth has successfully completed their final examinations, two girls studying pharmacy has completed their third year examination and the engineering studying youth have completed their second year examinations. The parents and guardians of the benefited youth has shared that their children education is continuing only because of the support, the support is more than words.  

The 27 youth had shared their marks sheet and they have secured during last year, their marks are very encouraging to support, the pharmacy studying youth stood first in their section in her midterm examination, the girl said that it is only because of the support I am able to concentrate on subjects, the supportive counseling and mentoring support by Vasavya Mahila Mandali has made use to concentrate on our studies. The support has reduced our parent’s worries; we could able to see smiles on their faces.

The beneficiaries said that the support which they have received is timely and needful.
