This project aims to prevent teenage pregnancy among 300 girls in Ghana by providing education, mentorship, and life skills training. Teenage pregnancy often disrupts education and limits future opportunities for young girls. Through awareness programs, reproductive health education, and community engagement, this project will empower girls to make informed decisions and stay in school.
Teenage pregnancy remains a significant challenge in many communities in Ghana. Limited access to accurate information, peer pressure, poverty, and lack of guidance contribute to early pregnancies. This often leads to school dropout, health risks, and long-term economic hardship for young girls.
This project will deliver school-based and community-based education programs on reproductive health, personal development, and decision-making skills. It will also provide mentorship and engage parents, teachers, and community leaders to support girls. By addressing both knowledge gaps and social pressures, the project will help reduce teenage pregnancy and keep girls in school.
The project will reduce teenage pregnancy rates and improve school retention among girls. Empowered girls are more likely to complete their education, become economically independent, and contribute positively to society. Over time, this will help break cycles of poverty and promote gender equality in Ghana.
