It was an honor for Sandipani Muni School to welcome Madam Amrita Uday Lalit and her team from the Supreme Court of India. She has been practicing at the High Court, New Delhi, and also working as a social worker to provide legal aid to handicapped, widows, minority groups, and poor people. As the brand ambassador and trainer for the “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao” drive, she has done amazing services for women. Along with her, Shri Ashok Jain, Shri Sanjay Singh, Shri Rajiv Bharti, and Madam Sonika from the Legal Authorities of India joined the event.
The mission of theis workshop was to interact with the young students of FFLV School and local widows to raise awareness about the opportunities, rights, and duties they have. She addressed our girls saying “You have the equal rights and opportunities as men have. The goddess of wealth is Laxmi, the goddess of power and strength is Durga and the goddess of wisdom is Saraswati. Women are the epitome of wealth and power. So don’t let yourself down because of some pre-conceived notions a society holds.”
They also established a legal-aid clinic in Vrindavan as the first legal-aid clinic in a pilgrimage in Uttar Pradesh.
Covid-19 cases among children have spiked dramatically in 2022 during a omicron variant surge, almost 4.2 million child cases were reported within the inititial few days of this year. Therefore, we found a urgent need for vaccination of our school students. As soon as the PM announced we styarted the vaccination drive at Sandipani Muni School for beneficiaries in the age bracket of 15-18 years. Since then more than 250 students have got the double vaccination.
Our girls seemed to be quite excited about their vaccination program and that is why they turned up in such a huge number for their vaccination. We would like to thank you for all the continuous support we got during the pandemic phase.

After months of uncertainty and anticipation, we are relieved and pleased to announce that the gates of our school are open again to give our students a warm welcome. We are trying our best to comply with Covid-19 rules and regulations to ensure the safety of our students. Only if the schools remain open can we continue with our mission to protect and prepare them for a better now and future. In particular, for our young girls who have not had any classes at all since the pandemic began in 2020. Most of them were engaged in household chores and had no access to study online during the lockdown. However older students from 9th to 12th grade continued with online classes.
We will work very hard to catch up with the missed school year, so that all our students can successfully transfer to the next class. We are happy that as of today, September 1, our girls are once again walking into the gate, greeting each other, learning, playing, and being nourished with breakfast and lunch. It is so important for this generation of children and youth to continue studying in a safe environment. We're praying to continue this time without any disruption, as we are facing some uncertainty of a new wave of covid-19.
A heartfelt thank you to all our friends for their continued support during these difficult times.
As the saying goes, prevention is better than cure. At this time, Food for Life Vrindavan is distributing vitamin D3 to thousands of needy families in Vrindavan.
It will help them to boost their immunity and can also help to reduce the mortality rate in elderly people by 20%.
Although, FFLV is not a hospital or a medical facility, yet we are determined to help our community fight the Covid pandemic.
Many thanks to Dr. Ludwig Manfred Jacob and Dr. Jacob's Medical GmbH for sending these highly important Vitamin D3 bottles all the way from Germany to Vrindavan, India.
The distribution of Vitamin D3 will continue in batches of 50 families on a daily basis. Along with the Vitamin D3 distribution we have also been distributing monthly food ration and sanitizers and masks to the community.
Thank You for your support.
