Giving more goats in January

By Michael Hildenbrand | Project Leader

Giving a pregnant goat to a widow or orphan so they can start an income producing herd is one of the most impactful, life giving projects we do in rural NE Uganda.  When they recieve the goat they agree not to eat the goat!  They can only sell or trade the babies that are delivered. The results we have seen over the years are truly amazing.  We have given close to 800 goats over the last few years. A team from the US will be traveling to Uganda in Januray to participate in one of the "goat distributions".  It is a joyous occasion as the whole village turns out to celebrate with the recipients.  We will report back after our January visit.  Thank you for all who are supporting this project.  Tell your friends about it.
