PowerOn recently completed our 2024 Community Tech Grant (CTG) cycle.
The PowerOn Community Tech Grant was designed to meet the tech needs of our PowerOn Partner Centers. With a deeper understanding of the critical reliance on technology for center operations and client resources, this grant provides the technology necessary to support community centers and their staff in their work serving the LGBTQ+ community. Centers may apply to receive up to ten devices for in-center or organization staff use.
48 LGBTQ+ centers were accepted to CTG in 2024.
34 of these are new centers (have not previously received a PowerOn grant). Of the accepted centers, 3 are in states that are new to the program (Wyoming, Nebraska, and Arizona).
377 devices have been granted, with a total value of over $150,000.
Laptops: 158
Tablets: 119
Desktops: 41
Cellphones: 28
Printers: 31
