With the support of GlobalGiving donors, we continue our mission to improve menstrual health in Kenya, Ghana, and Malawi. This time, our focus has been on reaching girls in Malawi with sustainable menstrual solutions.
In one of Malawi’s most remote regions, we work to ensure that young students from some of the country’s poorest families have the opportunity to complete secondary school. Access to education is key to unlocking a brighter future.
However, the lack of menstrual products often forces girls to stay home from school during their periods, negatively impacting their education and future opportunities.
To address this, we recently distributed menstrual cups to 130 secondary school girls.
These sustainable solutions help reduce school absenteeism and empower girls with greater freedom.
Alongside the distribution, the girls received vital education on hygiene and sexual health—knowledge that has the power to transform lives.
Investing in girls is investing in the future: In northern Malawi, we remain committed to ensuring that girls have better opportunities to stay in school—every day, all month long. Thank you for being part of this journey!
Your continued support makes a real difference.
