Vocational training has been organized at PDA Banphai Center to provide continuous support to affected families from COVID-19 outbreak. Consumption and selling of home grown production will help families reduce household expenses and generate sustainable income.
30 villagers from unemployed local families participated training on 28 August 2020, they have learned mushroom cultivation; mung beans and sunflower sprouts growing; organic insecticide making for vegetable gardens; soil preparation for seed nursery and biofertilizer making. Starter kits and packs have been distributed so villagers could get on their own growing immediately.
Another two rounds of training have been held for 59 villagers on 18 September 2020 and for 71 villages on 5 October 2020 respectively.
For all of our kind donors: Thank you for your generous gift to the project. We are thrilled to have your support. Through your donation 160 villagers and their affected families from COVID-19 outbreak have been able to accomplish training and continue working towards sustainable income generation. You truly make the difference for us, and we are extremely grateful!
