First Round of Workshops are Ready to GO!

Hello Everyone,

We hope you have all had an amazing and restful holiday season.

We are super happy to update you that the entire program has now been created- totaling 5 amazing workshops.

After a couple feedback sessions from our partner foundations all the material has been approved to be discussed with the girls. Due to the sensitive nature (reproductive health) of the content it took us a little longer to make sure we would have approvals from our project partners and the girl's parents.

Our first workshop will be held on Jan 25th and then every Tuesday for 4 more weeks- ending on Feb 22nd.

The workshops have come together beautifully and include lots of interactive and empowering elements- with the goal of totally transforming how girls understand and feel about their periods and becoming a woman.

We are so excited for the first set of workshops to begin and even more excited to share with you the results and the feedback from the girls once they have gone through the process.

Once again, we would like to share a huge THANK YOU for being part of this amazing forward thinking program- together we are the change!

Moving Ahead! Our First Project Update

Hello Dear Donors,

We have some exciting updates to share with you about the creation of Path to Womenhood!

Since funding has been completed we have been able to find and interview the project developer, Gabi Pinos.

With her longstanding training and work with the femine cycle she was the perfect choice to bring to life the concept and message of the first pilot program.

She has been diligently researching in prepartion to create our 4 part workshop to be delivered to the first set of girls come late September/ October when school is back in session as currently, like many places around the world, children are on summer vacation.

A note from Gabi, Project Developer:

"I am very excited to be part of the project. I think this is an incredible opportunity for me to be able to share this important knowledge and to create more awareness in the new generations.

In this phase of the project, I am gathering important information on similar projects that carry out menstrual education plans for girls and women. Through this analysis we can choose certain tools that will help us carry out the message to the girls in an appropriate way.

The most important part for the development of the curriculum is the creative process, which is based on the 4 archetypes of women and the lunar phases. From all this information, we will be able to create graphic material and other tools that will allow us to interact in a more dynamic way with the girls, so that they can know themselves and walk this beautiful path of being a woman."
