After the year-end presentations that took place in November and December, the students of the various units of Passarim could enjoy the deserved vacation (summer vacation here). The Passarim activities were suspended from mid-December to early February, when, along with schools, children and young again frequented the units where the project develops it´s activities.
One of the students, Daigy said on the first day: "I couldn´t wait to play again; I missed the Cello so much!" Another student has asked, "when will be our next presentation?" "On March we will have the first of the year!" was the reply.
So we started the year of 2015 with the intention to face the new challenges, especially in fundraising, in order to keep the project and even to extend it, since other public entities are interested in our activities for their children. But unfortunately we are not yet in a position to make this extension by a simple lack of resources. The presentation of March, mentioned above, is one of the actions we are doing to promote awareness of the people to support the project and the helps through Global Giving has been one of our hopes.

Após as apresentações de fim de ano que ocorreram em novembro e dezembro, os educandos do Passarim nas várias unidades puderam desfrutar das merecidas férias (aqui férias de verão): as atividades do Passarim ficaram suspensas de meados de dezembro até início de fevereiro, quando, juntamente com as escolas, as crianças e jovens voltaram a frequentar as unidades onde o projeto se desenvolve.
Uma das alunas, Daigy, disse no primeiro dia: "eu não via a hora de tocar de novo, estava com saudades do violoncelo!" Outro aluno já perguntou: "quando será nossa próxima apresentação?" "Em março já teremos a primeira do ano!" foi a resposta.
Assim, iniciamos o ano de 2015 com o ânimo de enfrentar os novos desafios, principalmente na captação de recursos para mantermos o projeto e até ampliá-lo, uma vez que outras entidades públicas vem requisitando as nossas atividades para as suas crianças, mas que infelizmente ainda não estamos em condição de atender por simples falta de recurso. A apresentação de março, mencionada acima, é uma das ações que estamos fazendo no sentido de sensibilizar as pessoas para apoiarem o projeto e as ajudas por meio do Global Giving tem sido uma de nossas esperanças.
Os resultados são visíveis na atitude das crianças, sua doação está mudando vidas!
