After conducting a thorough study of costs, we, in addition to keeping all the activities we have been doing at the end of 2015 to expand our field of action on two fronts: we started in center Clarisse the instrument classes (melodica), where we had only classes Corner Coral and opened a new class in the morning in the Butantã House of Culture, where we only had afternoon classes. So with the help of many, we are advancing the goal of enriching the education of children and young people with collective musical practices.
We are convinced that music is a powerful educational tool, which works much in the integral formation of our young citizens.
So all the help and support are welcome and essential.

Report Passarim Project

In February resumed classes in all units where develops the Passarim Project. Everyone involved (students, teachers, and coordination) have shown enthusiasm for the coming year and gratitude for the possibility, despite the unfavorable economic conditions, to continue the work that has been shown to be of great importance and value in the lives of over 400 children.
And the year looks promising, we are considering the possibility of expanding our work without changing the project carried out in other locations where we operate.
The main thing is that the more time passes, the more we are convinced of the positive effect on the lives of children who participate in our project.

The month of December 2015 was marked in Passarim, by year-end presentations. Each unit held its presentation on the spot, receiving massive and lively presence of relatives and friends of students. The CEU Uirapuru occurred on 3/12, the Gracinha Center on 5/12 and Culture House. These closing meetings closed with a flourish another year of hard work, dedication and struggle to keep alive the dream of providing the benefits of music and collective practices for young people from the region of Butantã, in São Paulo.
In the year 2016 we intend to take up a few new positions in the region (within reason, of what our financial condition permits, that come opening stop the Passarim, places we want our presence and our activities: are public places, schools, churches etc. but for that we need the support of partners, who have here at Global Giving an easy resource for its effectiveness.
Immense gratitude to the many who have been helping us!
