The 2025 Pakistan floods were initiated by intense pre-monsoon rains, causing devastating flash floods. These floods have primarily impacted Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Punjab, and Sindh. Punjab floods submerge 2,000 villages, two million affected, there were 778 confirmed fatalities, several missing people, and 2,372 rescued people in Bunner, Bhattagram, Bajur, and Swat districts. According to the news, a total of 850 fatalities, 918 injured people, and more than 13,993 are affected.
The Pakistan floods have affected communities in more than 50 districts, about 25% of the population. Dr. Musadik , Pakistan's minister for climate change, called the floods "unprecedented" and "the worst humanitarian disaster of this decade."
