Thanks is not enough

2021 has been a long and challenging year. Everyone has gone through hardships together but we have managed to come through and continue our journey. Thanks to our Medic Outpost family of supporters, the organization has continued to grow and spread training and education to some of the most remote parts of the world. Without our supporters that would never have happened. Thank you does not seem like it is enough. Medic Outpost has some bold plans for 2022. The project plans include a continued commitment to our current projects in Texas, Mexico, and our return to Africa. Our goals are to expand Medic Outpost's exposure in those areas by our local and international partner base. We are constantly looking for ways to be more cost-effective and productive. I hope that you will continue to support our work and help us grow as we "invest in people" and build healthcare from the ground up.

Thank you.

Dispatches from Medic Outpost – August 12, 2021

Medic Outpost is continuing to work along the border providing first responder training and equipment and working to help in the fight against Covid.   Our teams are involved with the Binational Health Council and the State of Texas Department of Health to formulate a plan for Medic Outpost to assist the unvaccinated populations along the border.

Medic Outpost is also assisting the Harris County Medical Reserve Corp by donating equipment and I will be doing some training for their volunteers in the coming months.  The upsurge in Covid may cause some modifications to those plans going forward but we are committed to helping the folks of Texas as well as other first responders around the world.

Medic Outpost has ordered our training van.  The situation with vehicles is still very frustrating.  We are hoping to see the training van which is an extended Ford 250 Transit by the end of the year.  It will take some time to outfit the van and spruce it up with graphics, but we are hoping to get it on the road by December.  Our training van will increase our exposure here in Texas and also with our programs in Mexico and on the border.   Thanks again to our donors David Price and Paul Crozier for getting our van project moving.

Stay tuned for more in our next Newsletter coming soon.

Stay safe and please get the jab.
