Outpost USA. Helping our First Responders

Medic Outpost is planning a very full 2023 in the USA.  The La Frontera Project is going strong.  We have partnered with Dr. James Luecke of Alpine, Texas and are providing our equipment and training as he does clinics along the border.   Medic Outpost has conducted two training sessions along the border in Presidio County in the last few months.  Our programs focus on maternal health, chronic disease evaluation and education, and children’s health.  It is a perfect synergy with Dr. Luecke’s treatment clinics and has been a great success.  In March, Medic Outpost will be going a little farther from the border zone and partnering with the Rotary Club International to provide our trainings and capacity building to rural villages in the states of Coahuila and Chihuahua.  The Rotary Club has been providing medications and treatment in these villages near the US border for many years.  I believe the combination of treatment and training will make a valuable impact on the lives of these impoverished people.   

2023 will also be the year that the Medic Outpost training van will hit the road in Texas.  Our plan is to provide training and continuing education to rural volunteer EMS and Fire departments.  The project will also work on chronic health education as well as provide community-based courses in first aid, CPR/AED, Stop the Bleed, and teach illness recognition and diagnostic evaluation to civic groups, churches, and schools during the year.  If you know an individual, company, or organization that would like to be a sponsor of this great and unique effort please let me know.  If you would like to have Medic Outpost come train and educate your company or organization then give me a shout.  Thank you and stay tuned for more photos and information on the website and via email.
