International Mathematics and Knowledge Olympiad
OIMC 2024 – 4th Edition: Steps Taken
The International Mathematics and Knowledge Olympiad (OIMC) 2024 was successfully conducted, fulfilling all planned steps and providing an enriching experience for the participants. From the official launch to the final award, each phase was carried out according to the established schedule.
10/09/2024 - Launch of the Olympics
The event began with its official launch, marking the beginning of the 4th edition of the OIMC. The dissemination took place on several platforms, reaching a large number of students, educators and educational institutions. The organizing team ensured that all information about registration, rules and schedule was accessible to the public, encouraging broad participation.
10/11/2024 - End of Online Registration
The registration period was completed successfully, with a significant number of students from different schools and regions. The organization ensured that the process was accessible and well-structured, allowing all interested parties to register in a simple and efficient way.
12 and 13/11/2024 - Test G1 and G2 - 1st phase
Students from groups G1 and G2 participated in the first phase of the competition, facing mathematical challenges and interdisciplinary questions. The tests were administered in an organized manner, ensuring a suitable environment for carrying out the tests. The technical team monitored the process to ensure the fairness and transparency of the evaluation.
14 and 15/11/2024 - Test G3 and G4 - 1st phase
Students from groups G3 and G4 also completed the first phase of the Olympiad, facing challenges suited to their levels of knowledge. The tests were administered in accordance with the event's quality standards, allowing participants to demonstrate their skills in mathematics and logical reasoning.
19 to 21/11/2024 - Test Week - 2nd phase (approved)
Students who advanced to the second phase had the opportunity to participate in Test Week, where they faced even more complex challenges. This stage was conducted with a high level of organization, providing a challenging and stimulating experience. During this time, the corrections and analysis team worked diligently to evaluate responses and ensure a fair and thorough process.
11/27/2024 - LIVE - Awards and Results
The Olympics concluded with the awards ceremony, broadcast live, where the results were announced and the winners received due recognition for their performance. Medals and certificates were awarded to the competition's highlights, celebrating the effort and dedication of the participants. In addition, the live stream featured inspiring speeches and reflections on the importance of knowledge and continuous learning.
