"Nourish &Empower" - Food Cart Initiative

Many individuals struggle with a lack of stable employment opportunities, making it difficult to earn a consistent income and support their families. This financial instability often leads to long-term hardship and limited chances for growth.

CHCS launched the “Nourish & Empower” food cart initiative to address this issue by providing individuals with fully equipped food carts, enabling them to start their own small businesses. This initiative not only creates immediate earning opportunities but also promotes self-reliance, dignity, and long-term sustainability.

Through this program, beneficiaries are able to generate daily income, support their households, and build a more secure future. CHCS continues to expand this initiative to uplift more individuals and strengthen communities.

Nourish and Empower Food Cart Initiative

Dear Esteemed Donors,

Poverty and unemployment continue to affect thousands of families across Pakistan. To address this, CHCS launched the Nourish and Empower Food Cart Initiative to promote self reliance and sustainable income.

During 2024 and early 2025, dozens of food carts were distributed. Each cart included starter supplies, hygiene training, customer service guidance, and basic financial management support.

These carts have enabled families to earn stable incomes, feed their children, and plan for a better future. Some beneficiaries have even expanded their businesses, creating opportunities for others.

In 2026, CHCS aims to expand this initiative by providing more carts, strengthening training programs, and establishing mentorship networks.

Every food cart represents dignity, independence, and hope.
