In this scenario Customs Health Care Society has taken the lead by providing food carts under the proposed project Nourish & Empower- Food Care Initiative. In this project the Carts are being provided to the unemployed persons who used this for earning their livlyhood for their families.
This project will be helpful for the unemployed young and middle aged man and many of the unskilled workers who have no jobs and provide them a source of income by selling the food, fruit and toys on their carts. The carts with the food, fruit and other goods will be provided by the Customs Health Care Society on one time basis.
The long time effect of the project will help in the empowerment of unskilled workers and also labourers who are unable to find a job or labour work on daily basis. This project will give them an opportunity to start their own microbusiness which will defenately culminate in starting a new business. As more and more food carts are provided to the unskilled workers it will contribute to the poverty alleviation and help in economic growth.
