No child without education

Happy New Year! We wish you all the very best in 2020! 

We are off to a great start with many exciting opportunities to support children in Romania through our educational programmes! We are currently establishing last details for this year's projects! Aside from our regular programs, hopefully we will soon anounce a summer camp with UK partners for orphans and disadvanatged children in Romania! 

At the same time, we are focusing on improving our Education through Sports programme; extending it to other areas of sport and further developing our rugby programme!

Dear donor,

September for us marks the start of the school year - a busy period for our team at Te Aud Romania.

We have started by distributing fully equipped schoolbags to over 500 children in rural areas across Romania. Our School in a Bag campaign is developed with partners from the United Kingdom. We are reaching hundreds of children each year from disadvantaged areas to support their education; children that otherwise could not afford educational tools; that come from very poor and/or broken families.

We are continuously working to improve education for children that need it most. In our endeavour, from September 2019 we have extended our Rugby for all children mentoring programme.

TAR Mentorship Program aims to give children from disadvantaged backgrounds the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals, so they can develop their interpersonal skills, including networking and communication and be on track to become successful people in the future.

What the program achieves:

• career exploration, life skills development and academic success;
• understanding of the positive potential of online communications;
• to offer support and advice with sport performance, school or career related issues and develop a nurturing relationship with the young person
• focus on social, employability and academic skills

Our Rugby for all children programme has been supporting 20 children through their education and personal development; and as of this September - we have admitted an extra 20 children in the programme; increasing our number of children in the programme to 40.

These children need our help and support! And we cannot do this alone!

Together we can turn their lives around and give them chances for productive lives in the future!
