Dear Supporter,

I trust you are well and our email finds you in good spirits. We are writing to you with the latest updates for our summer projects.

WeTomorrow in partnership with Te Aud Romania will organise an English summer camo between 9 - 14 August 2021, for 60 orphans and disadvavantaged children in Romania. The English summer camp will be conducted by our partners for the project, We Tomorrow - a Swiss charity , formerly known as Mahrberg Library.

The main objective of the project is to transform a mundane meeting room into an inspiring library with Romanian and English books. The newly formed space will be filled with new furniture, laptops, projector and a cozy castle with steps and pillows for cozy reading. The cost of the project is 10,500 Euros. Every penny will go towards giving over 100 orphans a cozy space for reading, using the computers, watching videos/films on the projector - in short equipping them with all the tools they need to head towards a better future in life.

Every little support from your side counts a lot for these children. Each and any of these children deserve the opportunities the majority of us had when growing up.

Attached you can find the project briefing as developed by our partners at We Tomorrow.

Again, thank you very much for supporting children in their endeavours!

Dear supporter,

There is no secret that disadvantaged communities have been hit harder through the pandemic. Underprivilged children have faced the highest risk.

Te Aud Romania has been redirected constant efforts towards eliminating disparities, now more than ever.

The cruel reality is that not everyone has been equally impacted.

The entire situation has had major effects on the emotional wellbeing of disadvanatged children and orphans.

We are now hoping to see a light at the end of the tunnel. It may be moving slow, but we are on our way there.

Currently, we are seeking to organise a summer camp for orphans in Romania; with one of our partner charities from Switzerland. The event involves roughly 100 children aged 6 to 18 and is comprised of one full week of mainly outdoor activities.

Obviously, our needs are high - from making sure all the guidelines are fully respected; to materials and equipment to bring some joy into these children's lives.

We cannot do it without your help. Any little support could count towards making a child smile.

Dear supporter,

We hope you are well and our email finds you in good spirits.

Education needs us now more than ever. Especially in Romania, where 1 in 5 children lives in poverty.

These children needs us now more than ever. The majority of the children we support are either orphans or come from disadvantaged backgrounds.

December is a time when we can turn our attention, more than ever, to these children in suffering.

We cannot help them without your support

If you would like to contribute to bringing joy for these children at holidays, please do not hesitate to donate to our project!

Everyone of these children deserves the opportunities the majority of us have had in our childhood!

Thank you

Dear supporter,

We are facing challenging times, and we are in this together. Unfortunately, the children we support are suffering most from this pandemic.

The majority of the children we support live in rural areas, come from economically deprived environments, with very little to rely on. They have been under tremendous pshychological pressure and we are continuously working our way through it with them.

Romania is still under constant pressure, with the number of cases on the rise. We are all still under a cloud of uncertainty for the future and these children suffer the most.

Currently, we have shifted our efforts into equipping our children with the neccessary digital tools to continue their education online.

We are now looking at the new school year starting on the 14th September, hopefully by then the number of cases will drop. Every town/city will decide how school will be conducted, depending on the number of cases at the time. The options available at the moment are: in shifts, reducing the number of students in one classroom at a time or part school/part online.

The main challenge at the moment for us is keeping a balance for these children, keeping them on track and motivated; and getting them ready for the eventuality of online education.

Therefore, we ask for your support one more time - to help us get them ready for school.

We thank you for your support so far - we could not have made it this far without you.

Dear Donors,

Our life has changed and we are all in this together. The effects of the pandemic have touched each and everyone of us. However, vulnerable children are most exposed to the dangers of the crisis. Situations such as poverty, emotional trauma, rural isolation have become even more worrying now more than ever.

Unfortunately, our work is based in an area that has become the biggest outbreak in the country. Schools have been closed and will continue to be closed for a while.

We are working hard through these challenging times to refocus and readapt our strategy in order to support our children and make sure we minimise the impact that this can have on their well-being.

Our team is working on not interupting their non formal education. We have adapted our communication and methods to serve these children, because they are our future.

We can't do it alone.

We make an appeal to our supporters to contribute alongside us, so that we can continue to support our children through these times.

Every little counts.

Thank you!
