The American Partners are delighted to announce that construction of the Mother and Child Health (MCH) area of the new Reproductive Health Center is complete and fully operational. On Monday, July 24, 2023, healthcare staff welcomed patients into the new facility for the first time! Please see attached pictures.
The new MCH measures 200 square meters (10,000 sq.ft.). Construction was completed in 160 days from the time of ground-breaking. The spaces in the facility include:
We are also happy to report that the cost of the MCH was lower than projected and these savings will allow us to begin the construction of the remaining portions of the reproductive health center in early 2024. The final areas of the Center to be constructed will include nutritional counseling and support services.
