The Nembe river has been neglected by the government and oil companies and have deteriorated to a very bad level, affecting aquatic life that is the main economic stay of the people.
Oil production and total neglect by the government has polluted the river and its banks, thereby affecting the economic and health life of the people of the community.
This project will surely solve the problem, if not the entire problem of this man made disaster that has been around the community for a decade.
This will surely sensitize the people and increase their awareness which will in turn make them negotiate for the cleanness of the river.
