Ashraya Neelbagh School – (April to June 2015)
Academic Performance:-
Neelbagh School reopened on May 15th 2015 after the summer break.
Class X students of Ashraya Neelbagh School performed exceptionally in their SSLC Examinations and bagged 100% results for the 7th consecutive year and third time in a row with 100% first class.
While all 30 students, who appeared for the examination, were successful and secured first class marks, 11 students bagged Distinction, 8 scored in the 80’s and 9 scored in the 70’s
Girish topped with 97% , followed by Nagendrababu with 96%.
The staff and students were elated with the results given the syllabus for the Board exams had been changed earlier in the year and the students and teachers had to work exceptionally hard to overcome the challenges of the new syllabus.
Admission:-
As it is the beginning of the new academic year admissions to LKG was completed. A total of 35 new students were admitted- 16 girls and 19 boys .
Total strength – 381 children - 191 boys and 190 girls; 100 students in the hostel.
New Staff Appointment :-
Four new teachers were also appointed.
All other activities will follow according to the yearly schedule that is set for them.
Teachers Training Workshop :-
Poornaprajna Institute of Faculty Improvement is conducting a series of teachers training workshops in the coming year. The first such workshop on Maths and Science was conducted on 19thand 20th of June 2015. The goal of this workshop is to provide motivation and encouragement, introduce a variety of models, which will provide support for Maths and Science teachers who want to explore ways of changing how they teach science & Maths.
