By Divya and Praveen | Adoptive Parents
Dear All,
Greetings from CSA !!!
As you are aware we have been working to facilitate adoptions as well as upgrading the living conditions of the children living in adoption agencies. We render our services to the adoption agencies which are located in rural area. We reachout to the adoption agencies with need based support and refer parents for the children waiting there. Here we have one such successful testimony which will give you an idea of efforts we are taking to promote adoptions as we belive that its the most complete form of rehabilitaion of the deprived child.
Here we have Praveen and Divya a couple who adopted Devika have written their testimony.
Devika’s tiny fingers touching our faces every morning as we wake up is the most wonderful feeling we have ever come across in our lives. Her smiles have filled our life with extreme happiness and help us see a wonderful world ahead of us. This would not have been possible without the support of Ms Lucy Mathews and her organisation Catalysts for Social Action.
All our questions and worries about adoption were answered the moment we saw the baby when she was just four months old. We will never forget the moments we saw her first, she came to us with a heartfelt smile as if we had just returned home from work. Since then we are on cloud nine. Devika is with us for a month now and keeps our lives blessed with her smiles and giggles.
Adoption for us has been a wonderful thing. Adopting Devika is the life-changing journey that has brought immense happiness to our family. We are really blessed to be parents of Devika and pray to god to continue giving us strength to bring her up with the right values in life.
