Report of April to June

In April, we had a final examination. To pass to the next grade, our students studied hard for ten-days exam. In fact, some students cannot study at home because they have to earn money and/or do their housework for their family. In India, whole family must support the family budget. In order to give enough education to all children who want to study, Mother Baby School will support them.
In May, we had a graduation ceremony. Fifth graders told us their precious memories in Mother Baby School. Their school days in Mother Baby School will become great assets for them. We hope that they can make their dreams come true.
In India, there is no class is June because it is summer vacation! We would like to support students again from July!

Christmas party
In December, we held a Christmas party for our students. This event is the most popular event in a year for them. They were really excited at the special day. Although they like Christmas day, they did not know it enough. So, our teacher explained what the Christmas day was. After that we held a party! All students got a Christmas present from teachers. They got happy and said thank you to Santa Claus.
We had a great time again!
In January 26th, we celebrated the republic day. This is the day that Constitution of India was made. It had been three years since India became independent from Britain. At our school, students danced with a song which they like. All students were pretty excited! Then we gave samosa which is popular as a fried food in India and laddoo which is kind of sweets. They enjoyed this event and promised to study hard.
Also, it was our 18thtime to hold the Study Tour. On a first day, participants enjoyed shopping. On the second day, they visited our school, Mother Baby School. We held a sports day and played jumping rope, carrying a ball and three-legged race. We had a great experience. At a borderless sports day, students also learned how they cheer their team members and others. It was a memorable time for them.

Music class
Every Saturdays, we have a music class and all students get together in a toddler’s room. It’s really enjoyable time for all of us even though we have many types of students like too shy to sing, self consciously sing, eagerly desire to sing and so on. Teachers also sang a song in front of the students this time.
In October, Students got new school uniform which were donated by Japanese dance artist “USA”. We also were able to buy new socks and shoes which made possible by your donations and were distributed to our students. Students were so excited to get those products.
In November, we finally finished our Intermediate exam and students got the report card. They have been able to attend to school thanks to your continued support.
