Monthly Support for Food and Shelter

Nang came to stay at Santepheap on 16 November 2008 when he was 11 years old, because his family was very poor farmers with three brothers and one sister and his school was so far from his house.

Last year, after he completed his grade 12 he decided to leave Santepheap when he had an opportunity to apply to train at SOS Vocational Training Center, Angkor, Siem Reap, for skills, such as carpenter, welding, plumbing, electrician, computer and English. SOS school provides the tuition, room and board to their students like Santepheap as well.

On 30 November 2016 he completed his vocational training successfully and he finished in the 3^rd rank among the 24 students. Now he gets a job as a maintenance engineer at La Niche D'Angkor Boutique Hotel in Siem Reap with a good salary. Now he has a full capacity workload and he is working very hard and earning more money to support his daily expenses by himself.

The Graduation of Kmao

On the 27^th of August 2016 we were invited to join the graduation of the HAVEN trainees. We are very proud of Kmao that he was included in those trainees who graduated their one year training course as cook. He will be doing his 3 months internship at the Navutu Dreams Resort in Siem Reap. This is a wonderful opportunity for him to gains more experience in cooking and gets the salary to support his living by himself and to help his family. 

The Completed grade 12 of Nuy

In September 2016, the Ministry of Education in Cambodia showed the result of the final examination of grade 12 students. According to the report of the Ministry, this year the rate of passers have only 62.18%. We would like to say congratulation to Nuy who passed his final examination this year. He got a fair good result. His table bumber in the photo is 456.
