Nang came to stay at Santepheap on 16 November 2008 when he was 11 years old, because his family was very poor farmers with three brothers and one sister and his school was so far from his house.
Last year, after he completed his grade 12 he decided to leave Santepheap when he had an opportunity to apply to train at SOS Vocational Training Center, Angkor, Siem Reap, for skills, such as carpenter, welding, plumbing, electrician, computer and English. SOS school provides the tuition, room and board to their students like Santepheap as well.
On 30 November 2016 he completed his vocational training successfully and he finished in the 3rd rank among the 24 students. Now he gets a job as a maintenance engineer at La Niche D'Angkor Boutique Hotel in Siem Reap with a good salary. Now he has a full capacity workload and he is working very hard and earning more money to support his daily expenses by himself.
