During 2015, several children have graduated 12th grade and gone on to higher education or vocational training. We seek continuing support for food and shelter for the remaining 10 children.
As with any family, including this family of 9 children, securing a monthly budget for essentials such as food, clothing, and shelter, is a challenge. These children have lived at The Cambodian Children's House of Peace for several years in pursuit of an education. They study very hard and do well in school, many at the top of their class. We need monthly donors who will help sustain the budget and provide security for their care.
With a dependable income of $1500/month, it will be possible to continue the project for the coming three months and into the year, as one student completes 12th grade, another 11th, and the younger children progress in the lower grades.
More than 40 children have been supported over the course of the past seven years, and are now working in the community as uni students, cooks, mechanics, and caregivers. They help support their families. This is the core purpose of CCHP, to provide support and education for poor countryside children to become successful citizens and strengthen their families and communities.
