Thank you for your generous contribution to the Israel-Palestine Crisis Relief Fund. Your donations continue to make a difference, helping Palestinians with access to food, psychological counseling, and evacuation support across Gaza, while Israelis still internally displaced receive the aid and shelter they need.

The crisis is becoming more dire by the day with Israeli military invasions into Rafah, aid blockades, and more displacement and food insecurity.

Your donation has powered four grants to vetted and community-led nonprofit organizations supporting Palestinians and Israelis in need. Here is a short description of some of the critical work you’ve supported:

  • Middle East Children’s Alliance (MECA) continues increasing its support of Palestinian children through community projects, which is essential as at least 10,000 children have been killed in Israel's attacks on Gaza, with numbers potentially higher due to identification challenges post-attacks. MECA is providing critical aid such as hot meals, clean water, and food packages to hard-to-reach communities in northern Gaza, Rafah, and Khan Younis.
  • Anera has distributed more than 14 million meals and nearly 30,000 hygiene kits to Palestinians across Gaza. The organization has also provided millions of medical treatments through its pop-up clinics.
  • A nonprofit grantee that wishes to remain anonymous for security reasons is providing cash assistance for evacuations from Gaza, including Rafah, as well as other emergency assistance. In addition, the grantee is supporting Gazan artists and partnering with other groups across Gaza and the occupied West Bank to provide psychosocial support through arts programming in schools to nearly 2,500 children.
  • IsraAID is leading child-friendly spaces and psychosocial programs in vulnerable communities displaced by the October 7th attack by Hamas, including Bedouin and asylum seeker populations. Coupled with art and play therapy programs, IsraAid’s facilitators onsite provide targeted guidance to caregivers, who must support children while processing their own displacement and grief. More than 40 protective shelters have been established for displaced Bedouin communities in southern Israel.

Your support of the GlobalGiving Israel-Palestine Crisis Relief Fund powers community-led responses, and it means our partners get the critical resources they need to respond to the needs around them. Thank you—we cannot say it enough. Until a ceasefire is reached and sustained peace is achieved, your generosity is giving communities in crisis the hope and aid they need to go on.

In solidarity,

Kyra + the GlobalGiving Team

About GlobalGiving’s Disaster Response

When a disaster strikes, recovery efforts led by people who live and work in affected communities are often overlooked and underfunded. GlobalGiving is changing this reality. Since 2004, we've been shifting decision-making power to crises-affected communities through trust-based grantmaking and support.

We make it easy, quick, and safe to support people on the ground who understand needs in their communities better than anyone else.

They were there long before the news cameras arrived, and they’ll be there long after the cameras leave. They know how to make their communities more resilient to future disasters, and they’re already hard at work. GlobalGiving puts donations and grants directly into their hands. Because the status quo—which gives the vast majority of funding to a few large organizations—doesn’t make sense.
