Thank you for your incredibly generous donation to the Israel-Palestine Crisis Relief Fund. Your contribution is making a meaningful difference for so many communities during a time of immense danger and overwhelming loss.
Before sharing our updates on this fund, we want to note that it was recently renamed the Middle East Crisis Relief Fund. This change reflects our ongoing commitment to responding to the escalating violence across the region. While we recognize the term "Middle East" carries a problematic, imperialistic history, we reluctantly decided to use it because it is widely recognized and will likely help us reach more people, and in turn, draw more support to those who urgently need it. You can read more about this decision in an update from our CEO, Victoria Vrana.
With your generosity, GlobalGiving continues to provide grants from this fund to trusted nonprofit partners who are directly serving the most impacted communities across the region. You’ve made it possible for more than 30 high-impact organizations to conduct lifesaving work since the fund was launched more than one year ago.
While most of our work focuses on immediate emergency relief, we also recognize the critical need to invest in peacebuilding and social justice efforts that are necessary for a lasting resolution and durable peace in the region.
One of those organizations bridging emergency response with peacebuilding efforts is the Alliance for Middle East Peace (ALLMEP). ALLMEP is a coalition of more than 160 organizations—and hundreds of thousands of Palestinians and Israelis—working together to promote justice, self-determination, and a future built on mutual respect, cooperation, and peace.
With support from GlobalGiving, ALLMEP is providing critical emergency funding to its trusted members working with Palestinian and Israeli communities, while also offering trauma-informed counseling and compassionate care for staff who have lost loved ones. Additionally, ALLMEP is amplifying the voices of Palestinian and Israeli peacebuilders to strengthen grassroots peacebuilding initiatives.
Until a ceasefire is reached and sustained peace is achieved, your contributions to the Middle East Crisis Relief Fund are a powerful tool to bring aid to so many people facing unimaginable horrors. We are committed to providing long-term support to our trusted nonprofit partners in the region. Your generosity is helping to make this dream a reality.
Thank you for your solidarity.
With immense gratitude,
Chase + the GlobalGiving team

When a disaster strikes, recovery efforts led by people who live and work in affected communities are often overlooked and underfunded. GlobalGiving is changing this reality. Since 2004, we've been shifting decision-making power to crises-affected communities through trust-based grantmaking and support.
We make it easy, quick, and safe to support people on the ground who understand needs in their communities better than anyone else.
They were there long before the news cameras arrived, and they’ll be there long after the cameras leave. They know how to make their communities more resilient to future disasters, and they’re already hard at work. GlobalGiving puts donations and grants directly into their hands. Because the status quo—which gives the vast majority of funding to a few large organizations—doesn’t make sense.
