Dear donors,
Yoleida, one of the entrepreneurs you have supported, wants to tell you a little bit about her. How and why she started her business and what are her plans moving forward:
"Hi! My name is Yoleida. I currently live in Baru. I have lived here for 14 years.
My father in law wanted to help me. He bought me this space, so we moved here and we started a business. We started selling rise, sugar and kitchen oil.
Our business began to grow. The community got to know us. We had some clients that bought products from us.
About a month ago, we heard about a microcredit project here in Baru. I was given a $2.000.000 loan after I applied to the project.
With the money, I bought some other things the business needed. We enlarged the store and bought seafood such us squid, shrimp, octopus and lobster and the business has kept growing.
What I would like next is to build a bigger space so that I can live in the second floor and keep the store in the first one, so that I can give my children a better future".
We will keep sending you regular reports on what your donations have helped accomplished and how they have impacted the entrepreneurs lifes. Thanks to your support and to their strength and motivation, they have not only grown their businesses but they have improved their quality of life.
