This project aims to support BASR with urgently needed medications, consumables and medical supplies for its rehabilitation and surgical hospital. BASR serves around 60,000 patients annually, and has different community programs and outreach services that help the Palestinian population in need of healthcare interventions and rehabilitation services, and due to the unstable political and economic situation, the hospital is struggling to provide needed supplies to its patients and beneficiaries.
BASR serves around 60,000 patients annually, this number is on the rise as our services expand to support the Palestinian community. However, due to recent funding cuts on Palestine, the Palestinian hospitals in general and BASR is one of them are struggling to maintain their operations and high quality services. This includes the purchase of different medications, consumables and medical supplies that are needed on a regular basis to keep the hospital running and able to serve patients.
This project will allow BASR to purchase different medications, consumables and medical supplies which are depleting in stock, and allows us to keep on serving the Palestinian community. By supporting BASR, you will be helping the Palestinian community, particularly those who live in Bethlehem Governorate; a population of around 220,000 people.
The long term impact of this project is to enable BASR to keep on running its operations, and support the Palestinian community in receiving various medical, surgical and rehabilitation services that support their well-being.
